MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This station is located in Lassen Volcanic National Park on the Mt. Harkness 7.5 minute U.S. Geological Survey topographic quadrangle. Data were collected by Fred H. Everest as Part I of a project by Humboldt State University. The water quality data are part of a report called "A Survey of Horseshoe and Snag Lakes and Their Tributaries; Lassen Volcanic National Park; JuneSeptember 1963." Horseshoe Lake is located in the southeastern quarter of Lassen Volcanic National Park. The maximum depth of 76 feet is found in the southeastern portion of the lake.
