THE SITE IS LOCATED ON THE CANADIAN RIVER AT ITS JUNCTION WITH US HIGHWAY 385. THE SAMPLING STATION IS OUTSIDE THE PARK BOUNDARIES OF LAKE MEREDITH NATIONAL RECREATION AREA. DATA HAVE BEEN COLLECTED BY THE CANADIAN RIVER MUNICIPAL WATER AUTHORITY (CRMWA) FROM 1967 TO THE PRESENT TO MONITOR WATER QUALITY FOR THE CANADIAN RIVER PROJECT. ASHBY LEWIS OF THE CANADIAN RIVER MUNICIPAL WATER AUTHORITY IS THE PRINCIPAL ANALYST OF THE WATER QUALITY DATA.
