THE SITE IS LOCATED IN THE MEREDITH HARBOR AREA OF LAKE MEREDITH NATIONAL RECREATION AREA. DATA HAVE BEEN COLLECTED BY THE CANADIAN RIVER MUNICIPAL WATER AUTHORITY (CRMWA) FROM 1967 TO THE PRESENT TO MONITOR WATER QUALITY FOR THE CANADIAN RIVER PROJECT. ASHBY LEWIS OF THE CANADIAN RIVER MUNICIPAL WATER AUTHORITY IS THE PRINCIPAL ANALYST OF THE WATER QUALITY DATA. THE CRMWA WATER QUALITY MONITORING INCLUDES BACTERIOLOGICAL; CHEMICAL; AND PHYSICAL PARAMETERS. ADDITIONAL DATA FOR THIS STATION COME FROM THE TEXAS NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION COMMISSION STATION (21TXWQB 10050) IN STORET WHICH ALSO CONTAINED CRMWA DATA FOR THIS LOCATION.
