MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE SITE IS LOCATED ON THE KINGS CREEK; S.C. 1:24000 SERIES USGS TOPOGRAPHIC QUADRANGLE. THE STATION IS LOCATED ON GARNER CREEK APPROXIMATELY 10 FEET DOWNSTREAM FROM THE INTERSECTION OF THE UNNAMED DRAINAGE AND APPROXIMATELY 100 YARDS DOWNSTREAM FROM THE INTERSECTION OF THE UNNAMED DRAINAGE AND THE SOUTHWEST END OF THE LEAD LINE BOUNDARY. THE SITE IS MARKED WITH TWO METAL POSTS; ONE ON EACH BANK. THIS STATION IS ONE OF SEVEN SAMPLED AS PART OF KINGS MOUNTAIN (KIMO) NATIONAL MILITARY PARK'S WATER QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM. SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED AND ANALYZED BY SUPERVISED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS USING A HYDROLAB. SEMIANNUAL REPORTS DOCUMENTING THESE DATA HAVE BEEN PRODUCED BY KIMO. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT KEVIN B.
