This stream begins in rapidly developing Marietta Georgia before traverse the park. Data collection began in 1994 and was ongoing as of 1999. Park staff collect the field data and take samples to the Cobb County Water Lab for bacteriological analysis and to the USGS Georgia District for analyses of the other parameters. Supervised volunteers from North Cobb High School have collected SQS biological data at this station. Kennesaw Mountain NBP contact is Rich Biurgren; 900 Kennesaw Mtn.
