THE SITE IS LOCATED AT NOVARUPTA DOME IN THE VALLEY OF TEN THOUSAND SMOKES REGION. THE SAMPLE IS SNOWMELT FROM THE DOME. DATA FOR THIS STATION WERE COLLECTED AS PART OF A PROPOSED DRILLING PROJECT IN KATM AND ARE SUMMARIZED IN TABLE C4 OF A MAY 1992 SANDIA REPORT (SAND920850) TITLED "REVISED OPERATIONS PLAN FOR THE KATMAI SCIENTIFIC DRILLING PROJECT" BY A.R. SATTLER AND D.A. BLANKENSHIP. THE STATION LOCATION IS APPROXIMATE DUE TO A LACK OF STATION LOCATION INFORMATION IN THE REPORT. FOR PARK INFORMATION CONTACT THE CHIEF OF RESOURCES AT KATM; P.O.
