THE SITE WAS ON THE SOUTH FORK OF THE LITTLE CONEMAUGH RIVER AND WAS OUTSIDE THE JOHNSTOWN FLOOD NATIONAL MEMORIAL. THE DATA WERE COLLECTED BETWEEN LLOYDELL AND BEAVERDALE RESERVOIR APPROXIMATELY 0.5 MILES UPSTREAM FROM THE HIGHLAND WATER AND SEWER GATE. THE STREAM WAS SAMPLED FOR METALS; NITRATE AND PHOSPHATE SPECIES; ACIDITY/ALKALINITY. THE LOCATION WAS SAMPLED FOR PRELIMINARY DATA TO A STUDY THAT SUBSEQUENTLY WAS NOT WRITTEN.
