THE SAMPLING SITE IS OUTSIDE OF THE HOVENWEEP NATIONAL MONUMENT BOUNDARY BUT IS WITHIN A 10 MILE RADIUS OF THE MONUMENT. THE DATA WERE COLLECTED BY THE U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY IN COOPERATION WITH THE U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE; BUREAU OF RECLAMATION; AND BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS; AND ARE PRESENTED IN THE USGS WATERRESOURCES INVESTIGATIONS REPORT NUMBER 944041.
