The station can be found on the Hot Springs North 7.5' USGS topographic quadrangle. The location and data for this spring originate from a 1902 U.S. Senate Document (282) entitled The Hot Springs of Arkansas: Report of an Analysis of the Waters of the Hot Springs on the Hot Springs Reservation; Hot Springs; Garland County; Arkansas by J.K. Haywood (Head of USDA Laboratory of Insecticides and Agricultural Waters of the Bureau of Chemistry) and Walter Harvey Weed (USGS). Some of the spring numbers and names were given by J.K. Haywood and Martin Eisele an early Superintendent of Hot Springs National Park. Station is described as: Reservoir Spring "Twenty feet beneath concrete paving back of superintendent's office (1902)."
