| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE POTTSTOWN PENNSYLVANIA 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. THE SITE IS LOCATED OUTSIDE OF HOPEWELL FURNACE NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE. THE SAMPLE SITE IS AT FRENCH CREEK AT CAMP INNABAH EAST OF HIGHWAY 100. DATA ARE FROM A SERIES OF FRENCH CREEK REPORTS PREPARED BY THE ADVANCED BIOLOGY STUDENTS OF CONESTOGA HIGH SCHOOL; TREDYFFRINEASTTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT. STUDENTS USED TO BE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF DR. RALPH HEISTER BUT HAVE BEEN UNDER THE DIRECTION OF NORMAN MARRINER SINCE 1991. SAMPLING WAS DONE BY THE STUDENTS. BACTERIOLOGICAL SAMPLES WERE RUN BY THE CHESTER COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
