| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Monitoring Well NPS2 (T7S R13E 9CDD) is located on the edge of the plateau near the northern boundary of HAFO. A direct correlation between this well and the springs by the pipeline has been demonstrated by tracer studies. This correlation indicates water from this well is representative of the springs. Pumping time for NPS2 was ten to twenty minutes to purge the well. The pump cycled from high to low volume every few seconds, due to over pumping the well. Average flow rate that the pump was able to produce was about 0.85 liters per second. NPS2 is classified in the basalt hydrogeologic group. |
