MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This station was located in a narrow, protected slough connecting Davis Bayou and Halsted Bayou. The site received very little wave action but was subject to a relatively strong tidal flow on the rising and falling tides. The average depth at this site was 0.9 m and the bottom was of moderately soft mud. Marsh grasses, primarily Spartina alterniflora and Juncus roemerianus were the predominant vegetation.
