MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The station is within the boundaries of Gulf Islands National Seashore and is located on the north side of West Ship Island on the boat dock, on a few occasions the study was done on the west side of the dock but more often than not it was done on the east side. Also on June 28th, 1994 the study located was changed from the center of the dock to the north end where it remained until the end. Site can be found on the Ship Island USGS 1:24000 series topographic quadrangle.
