MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Stream Order: 1 UTMX=305099; UTMY=3945360 Survey Period: 1994-1996 Other: From original park report: Route 34 - Lost Bottom Creek, Cataloochee Creek. Site 140 (Old Site 1600) - Falling Rock Creek above the Beech Creek Trail Crossing at about 3500 ft. - this Is the creek that has been beneath the Trail for a while approaching from Cataloochee Area this will be the third log bridge on the hike - while standing on the bridge look (carefully) downslope and you will see small tributary entering about 30 yards below the bridge, this is it! - to sample, go past the bridge about 20 yards and through the brush about 15 yards.
