THE SITE IS ON BUCK CREEK IN GREAT SAND DUNES NATIONAL MONUMENT APPROXIMATELY HALFWAY BETWEEN THE PARK BOUNDARY AND THE SAND DUNES. THIS SITE IS THE SAME AS GRSA_BOR_BUCK. SAMPLING FOR THIS SITE WAS DONE FROM DECEMBER 10 1990 THROUGH JANUARY 7 1993 BY THE UNITED STATES BUREAU OF RECLAMATION SAN LUIS VALLEY PROJECTS OFFICE CHEMISTRY LABORATORY IN ALAMOSA COLORADO AT THE REQUEST OF THE NATIONAL MONUMENT. THE RESULTS ARE IN THE 1997 REPORT "WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PLAN GREAT SAND DUNES NATIONAL MONUMENT COLORADO" BY MARK CHATMAN; DAVID SHARROW; AND ANDREW VALDEZ.
