MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The seep on the right side of the Colorado River at Mile 147 discharges from the Muav Limestone at a backwall detritus slope. The site is within the boundary of Grand Canyon National Park, in the central portion of the park. The site is one of 56 stations monitored at four national park units in a survey of springs along the Colorado River by John Spence during 1997 and 1998.
