MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Far West Cottonwood Creek is located within the boundary of Grand Canyon National Park in the lower reaches of Cottonwood Creek. After leaving Cottonwood Creek proper and going west, this is in the far western wash that intersects the Tonto Trail. The site is located at a small pool below a 5 foot dropoff approximately 150 feet upstream of the Tonto Trail, next to a gigantic boulder. Station description information was provided by Grand Canyon National Park staff.
