MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Hotel Spring is located in Hundred and Fifty Mile Canyon in western Grand Canyon National Park. Water discharges from numerous horizontal seams in the Esplanade Sandstone, filling depressions in the bedrock channel with small pools. Water samples were collected directly from the uppermost pool. Wildlife and backpackers use this spring as a water source and water samples provide information about the waterquality.
