MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Buckhorn Spring is located near the upper end of Hundred and Fifty Mile Canyon in western Grand Canyon National Park. The spring discharges from beneath large boulders resting on exposed rocks of the Hermit Formation. Water samples were collected near where flow emerges from below the boulders. Wildlife and backpackers use this spring as a water source and water samples provide information about the waterquality.
