MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Cottonwood Creek is located in the South Rim within the boundary of Grand Canyon National Park. Samples were collected and measurements were made at the USGS stream gage (station number 09402450). Abundant riparian vegetation and plant waste are present in the stream bed. The springs on east side of Cottonwood go dry during summer.
