THE SITE IS LOCATED AT STRAWBERRY CREEK AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH THE PARK BOUNDARY AND IS LOCATED WITHIN GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK. THE DATA ARE FROM A REPORT BY RUTH JACOBS ET AL.; "CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SURFACE WATERS OF GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK;" DECEMBER 1993. THIS REPORT WAS PREPARED IN COOPERATION WITH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE. THE STUDY WAS DESIGNED TO COLLECT WATER QUALITY DATA FOR THE PARK TO AID IN THE PREPARATION OF A WATER QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM TO MEET MANAGEMENT PLAN OBJECTIVES. THE SAMPLES WERE FILTERED WITH A 1.2 UM FILTER IN THE FIELD. ICP METAL VALUES WERE UPLOADED TO STORET BUT ARE CONSIDERED TO BE SUSPECT. FOR MORE INFO.
