THE SITE IS LOCATED AT STRAWBERRY CREEK 2 METERS ABOVE UPPER/LOWER STRAWBERRY DRIFT FENCE AND IS LOCATED WITHIN THE GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK BOUNDARY. THE DATA ARE FROM SEVERAL YEARLY REPORTS (199097) BY KURT PFAFF; PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN FOR GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK. A SURFACE WATER QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM WAS INSTITUTED TO ACQUIRE THE DATA FROM THE PARK WATERS ON A SEMIANNUAL BASIS. DATA ARE INTEGRATED INTO THE PARK'S WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLAN IN ORDER TO PERPETUATE THE INHERENT NATURAL INTEGRITY OF ITS WATERDEPENDENT ENVIRONMENTS.
