THE SITE IS LOCATED AT BAKER CREEK AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH THE PARK BOUNDARY AND IS LOCATED WITHIN GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK (GRBA). THE DATA ARE FROM SEVERAL YEARLY REPORTS (199097) BY KURT PFAFF; PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN FOR GRBA. A SURFACE WATER QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM WAS INSTITUTED TO ACQUIRE THE DATA FROM THE PARK WATERS ON A SEMIANNUAL BASIS. DATA ARE INTEGRATED INTO THE PARK'S WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLAN IN ORDER TO PERPETUATE THE INHERENT NATURAL INTEGRITY OF ITS WATERDEPENDENT ENVIRONMENTS.
