THE DATA ARE FROM A REPORT BY RICHARD METCALF ET AL.; "CHEMISTRY OF SELECTED LAKES AND STREAMS IN GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK NEVADA DURING WINTER AND SPRING 1989;" SEPTEMBER 1992. THIS REPORT WAS PREPARED UNDER A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY IN AN EFFORT TO OBTAIN A COMPLETE CHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF THE WATERS IN GRBA. THE DATA ARE MEANT TO BE USED IN PARK RESOURCE ASSESSMENT; IN FUTURE STUDIES; AND AS A SOURCE OF BASELINE WATER QUALITY ANALYSES.
