MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE HOGUM NV 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. THE SITE IS LOCATED AT WILLARD CREEK APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES OUTSIDE (WEST) OF THE GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK BOUNDARY. DATA ARE FROM A REPORT BY TIMOTHY STACK OF THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT; "1981 STREAM HABITAT INVENTORY; SCHELL RESOURCE AREA." THE STUDY WAS CONDUCTED TO ASSESS STREAM HABITAT CONDITIONS OF SEVERAL STREAMS LOCATED ON PUBLIC LANDS IN EASTERN NEVADA. THE REPORT FOCUSES ON QUALITY OF POOLS; BED MATERIALS; BANK COVER; RIPARIAN AREAS; AND AQUATIC INVERTE BRATES AS WELL AS WATER CHEMISTRY. DATA FROM THIS REPORT WERE COMPARED TO RESULTS FROM A 1979 BLM STUDY IN THE SAME AREA. THE 1979 DATA ALSO HAVE BEEN UPLOADED TO STORET BY THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE.
