THE SITE IS LOCATED AT A SPRING NORTH OF LEHMAN CREEK; APPROXIMATELY 1 MILE EAST OF STELLA LAKE; AND IS WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK. DATA ARE FROM A MASTER'S THESIS PREPARED BY STEPHEN ACHAEMPONG; "ISOTOPE HYDROLOGY OF LEHMAN AND BAKER CREEKS DRAINAGES; GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK; NEVADA." THIS THESIS WAS SUBMITTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF GEOSCIENCE; UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA; LAS VEGAS IN AUGUST OF 1992. DATA WERE COLLECTED IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THE RECHARGE AND MIXING MECHANISMS OF WATER RESOURCES IN THE PARK USING ENVIRONMENTALLY STABLE ISOTOPES OF DEUTERIUM AND OXYGEN18.
