THE SITE IS ON PILARCITOS LAKE APPROXIMATELY 4 MILES NORTHEAST OF EL GRANADA AND IS INSIDE THE GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL RECREATION AREA BOUNDARIES. THE EXACT SAMPLING LOCATION WAS NOT SPECIFIED; SO THE APPROXIMATE CENTER OF THE LAKE WAS DIGITIZED TO DETERMINE THE LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE FOR THE SITE. SAMPLES WERE TAKEN ON 17 APRIL 1951; 19 DECEMBER 1958; AND 5 JUNE 1972. THE RESULTS ARE IN "LIMNOLOGICAL DATA FROM SELECTED LAKES IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY REGION; CALIFORNIA" BY LINDA BRITTON; RODGER F. FERREIRA; AND ROBERT C.
