THE SITE IS AT CAMINO DEL CANYON ABOVE THE SLIDE AND IS WITHIN THE GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL RECREATION AREA BOUNDARIES. SAMPLES FOR THIS SITE WERE COLLECTED FROM 19 NOVEMBER 1997 THROUGH 31 MARCH 1998 IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF GOLDEN GATE DAIRY STABLES ON THE REDWOOD CREEK WATERSHED. THE RESULTS ARE IN "WINTER 19971998 WATER QUALITY MONITORING AT GOLDEN GATE TRIBUTARY" BY DARREN FONG AND LEANNE CANEVARO (NATIONAL PARK SERVICEGOLDEN GATE NATIONAL RECREATION AREADIVISION OF RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING; JUNE 1998).
