MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE SAN GERONIMO CALIFORNIAMARIN CO. 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. THE SITE IS AT LAGUNITAS CREEK IMMEDIATELY UPSTREAM OF SHAFTER BRIDGE AND IS OUTSIDE THE GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL RECREATION AREA BOUNDARIES. WATER TEMPERATURE AND DISSOLVED OXYGEN WERE MEASURED AT THIS SITE TWICE WEEKLY FROM 6 JULY 1983 THROUGH 6 NOVEMBER 1984. MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM WATER TEMPERATURES THAT OCURRED BETWEEN MEASUREMENTS WERE NOTED FROM RECORDING THERMOMETERS. THE RESULTS ARE IN "SUMMARY OF STUDY RESULTS AND PROPOSED MITIGATION MEASURESLAGUNITAS CREEK BASIN MARIN COUNTY CALIFORNIA" BY BRATOVICH AND KELLEY (OCTOBER 1988).
