THE SITE IS AT THE HEADWATER RIVULET FEEDING REDWOOD CREEK NEAR THE BOOTJACK RESTROOMS AND IS WITHIN THE GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL RECREATION AREA BOUNDARIES. LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE COORDINATES WERE DETERMINED AT THE NEAREST AREA OF OPEN CANOPY USING A HANDHELD MAGELLAN GPS MERIDIAN. ONE SAMPLE WAS COLLECTED AT THIS SITE ON 25 APRIL 1994 AND THE RESULTS ARE IN "REDWOOD CREEK AQUATIC MONITORING REPORT FEBRUARYMAY 1994" BY M. PODLECH; R.J. BROWN; AND D. KARENTZ (INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL BIOLOGYUNIVERSITY OF SAN FRANCISCO; SEPTEMBER 1994).
