| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Coyote Gulch is a perennial tributary flowing east to west into the Escalante River in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Water samples were collected near where the 'Crack in the Rock' trail crosses Coyote Gulch, about 3,000 feet upstream of it's confluence with the Escalante River. Wildlife and backpackers use this stream as a water source and water samples provide information about the waterquality. Agricultural activities occur currently or have occurred historically in the Coyote Gulch watershed. |
