The site is in Lake Powell immediately above the Hite Marina in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Bacteriological samples were held longer than 30 hours. Source Type: Lake. Position: Littoral. Substrate: Sand over bedrock. The data are from the report "Water Resources Descriptions and Data Base Canyonlands National Park Needles District and Adjacent BLM Lands" prepared by Ecosystems Research Institute (October 1984).
