MonitoringLocationDescriptionText SITE IS APPROXIMATELY 50 YARDS OUTSIDE THE PARK BOUNDARY IN THE NORTHEAST DIRECTION ALONG THE POPES CREEK ESTUARY SHORELINE. THE SAMPLE IS TAKEN FROM THE END OF A DOCK WHICH EXTENDS APPROXIMATELY 10 TO 15 FEET INTO THE ESTUARY. THE SHORELINE IS TREE LINED. THE ESTUARY BOTTOM AT THIS LOCATION IS MUDDY. SAMPLING IS PERFORMED BY VOLUNTEERS WITH THE ALLIANCE FOR THE CHESAPEAKE BAY. THE DATA IS COLLECTED ON AN ONGOING BASIS BY THE ALLIANCE. FOR INFORMATION CONTACT MARCY JUDD AT P.O.
