MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THIS STATION IS LOCATED ON THE GETTYSBURG PENNSYLVANIA ADAMS CO. 7.5 MINUTE (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. THE SITE IS LOCATED ON PLUM RUN UNDER THE BRIDGE AT SOUTH CONFEDERATE AVENUE. THIS STATION IS LOCATED INSIDE THE GETTYSBURG NATIONAL MILITARY PARK BOUNDARY. DATA WERE TAKEN FROM MISCELLANEOUS HANDWRITTEN DOCUMENTS. THESE DOCUMENTS INCLUDE MAPS; TABLES OF WATER CHARACTERISTICS; AND WATER QUALITY DATA. THE DOCUMENTS PRESENT THE RESULTS OF STREAM SURVEYS THAT WERE CONDUCTED ONCE A YEAR FROM 1974 UNTIL 1980 AS PART OF A YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS PROJECT. ALL ALKALINITY VALUES AND SELECTED PH; DO; AND FLOW VALUES FROM THE STUDY WERE NOT UPLOADED TO STORET DUE TO SUSPECTED SAMPLING AND/OR ANALYSIS ERROR.
