STORM DRAIN LOCATION SD2 IS LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE WESTINGHOUSE ELEVATOR PLANT NEAR GETTYSBURG; PA AND DRAINS INTO THE NORTHERN TRIBUTARY OF ROCK CREEK. THE SITE IS LOCATED OUTSIDE GETTYSBURG NATIONAL MILITARY PARK BOUNDARIES. SAMPLES OF WATER FLOWING IN THE PLANT'S STORM DRAIN SYSTEM WERE TESTED TO DETERMINE MIGRATION PATHWAYS OF TARGET COMPOUNDS ATTRIBUTED TO THE FACILITY. RESULTS WERE PRESENTED IN THE 1989 REPORT "REMEDIAL INVESTIGATION/FEASIBILITY STUDY; WESTINGHOUSE PLANT SITE" BY PAUL RIZZO ASSOCIATES INC.; 300 OXFORD DRIVE; MONROEVILLE PA 15146.
