| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | The sampling site is located on Lewis Run where it enters southern Chancellorsville Battlefield Park. The creek originates outside of the park boundaries and winds through housing areas and two impoundments. Once inside the park, the creek flows southeast and joins the waterway leading to the Ni River. This creek contains a mixture of pools, runs and riffles of varying depth. This creek is accessible from the bridge where it crosses under Sickles Drive. The water pools under the bridge so the sampling site is actually located upstream of the bridge in a riffle area. |
