THE SITE IS LOCATED AT ABERCORN CREEK AT THE RAW WATER INTAKE. GRAB SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED BY THE CITY OF SAVANNAH UNTIL SEQUENTIAL SAMPLING CAPABILITY WAS ESTABLISHED. DATA ARE FROM THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES REPORT "RELEASE OF 7500 CURIES OF TRITIUM TO THE SAVANNAH RIVER FROM THE SAVANNAH RIVER SITE" (JAMES HARDEMAN JR.; JANUARY 1992). THE REPORT DOCUMENTS THE RESPONSE OF NUMEROUS AGENCIES TO THE RELEASE OF TRITIUM BY A NUCLEAR REACTOR AT THE SAVANNAH RIVER SITE.
