MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE SITE IS LOCATED ON THE LAKE GEORGE COLORADO 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. THE SITE IS LOCATED AT A SMALL PERENNIAL STREAM JUST INSIDE THE MONUMENT'S SOUTH BOUNDARY. THE STREAM IS ONE OF SEVERAL TRIBUTARIES TO GRAPE CREEK. THE SITE IS IMMEDIATELY DOWNSTREAM OF A CAMPING/FISHING RESORT WHICH HAS DAMMED A FEW PONDS AND STOCKED TROUT IN THE DRAINAGE. THE ELEVATION OF THE STATION LOCATION WAS ESTIMATED USING DIGITAL MAPPING SOFTWARE AND THE USGS TOPOGRAPHIC QUADRANGLE MAP. DATA WERE RECEIVED FROM FLFO PARK STAFF AS LOTUS FILES DATA.WK1 AND DATA2.WK1.
