| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Station is located in El Morro National Monument on the El Morro 7.5' U.S. Geological Survey topographic quadrangle. Water samples were collected at this site by Aaron Cross in 1995 as part of a study of weathering processes at El Morro National Monument. The water samples were analyzed by the New Mexico Bureau of Mines and Mineral Resources. The data are included in a November 1996 final report prepared by Aaron Cross for the National Park Service entitled "Stratigraphy; Sedimentology; and Surface Water Quality at El Morro National Monument." In the report this station was referred to as: "Upper Zuni fresh tinaja south margin."
