THE DATA ARE FROM A REPORT BY THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA; UNIVERSITY HYGIENIC LABORATORY (DES MOINES BRANCH) "YELLOW RIVER RAINFALL RUNOFF AND LOW FLOW WATER QUALITY STUDIES" (REPORT #833). THIS STUDY WAS CONDUCTED FOR THE SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICEU.S. DEPT. OF AGRICULTURE; AND THE IOWA DEPT. OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY IN ORDER TO EVALUATE THE EFFECTS OF RAINFALL RUNOFF ON WATER QUALITY; AS WELL AS TO DETERMINE THE EFFECTS OF POINT SOURCE DISCHARGES ON WATER QUALITY DURING LOW FLOW SUMMER CONDITIONS.
