THE DATA ARE FROM A REPORT BY THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA; UNIVERSITY HYGIENIC LABORATORY (DES MOINES BRANCH) "WATER QUALITY SURVEY OF THE YELLOW RIVER" (REPORT #7920) OCTOBER 1978. THIS STUDY WAS CONDUCTED FOR THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY TO OBTAIN BACKGROUND DATA AND "ASSESS THE IMPACT OF POINT SOURCE WASTE DISCHARGERS ON WATER QUALITY."
