MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The station is located at 5580 feet in elevation on the mainstem of Annie Creek, near the upper end of the Mazama Campground. Stream gradient is moderate and the channel varies from 13 m wide and 5 10 cm deep. Moss, herbaceous plants, and grass provide moderate shade near the stream. Stream banks are mostly volcanic sand and gravel. Gravel bottom runs dominate the stream bed and aquatic moss is found on larger cobble tops. The station description was based on station visits that occurred during September 1990.
