MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The station is located on the mainstem of Annie Creek at an elevation of 5660 feet, just upstream of the confluence with Munson Creek. A continuous band of perched wetland meadows have formed on the west bank. The wetlands have a dense cover of grass and herbaceous plants and are drained by many small seep channels. Extensive slumping occurs on the east bank due to the bare volcanic soils. The stream bed is composed of tightly embedded cobble riffles. Channel width is 2 meters. The station description was based on station visits that occurred during September 1990.
