MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This station is at Papermill Creek Site 1. This site is approximately 10 meters below Papermill Creek's origin, and just below the confluence of the channels from the storm drains. The source of the stream is a storm drain pipe located on the west side of Colonial Parkway immediately south of the on-off exchange ramps between the Parkway and Newport Avenue. Early maps have this as a second-order stream derived from three first-order streams. In 1998 there were storm drain pipes, one of which has flow.
