The station is located in Chiricahua National Monument where the road crosses the intermittent stream south of the Superintendent's residence. Data stored in STORET for this station were obtained from spring surveys and other hydrologic data contained in the office files of the National Park Service Water Resources Division. The files also contain data collected from wells in Chiricahua National Monument that weren't uploaded to STORET.
