| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Station is located on the Cochise Head Ariz. 7.5' U.S. Geological Survey quadrangle. The station is located in Chiricahua National Monument. The location is marked by a 4.5'x2'x2' concrete box. A warm or hot spring was present at the site and the water was used to irrigate an orchard. An earthquake in 1886 disrupted the spring which no longer flows. Standing water may be present. Data stored in STORET for this station were obtained from spring surveys and other hydrologic data contained in the office files of the National Park Service Water Resources Division. The files also contain data collected from wells in Chiricahua National Monument that weren't uploaded to STORET.
