MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Station is located on the Cochise Head Ariz. 7.5' U.S. Geological Survey quadrangle. The station is located in Chiricahua National Monument 150 feet downstream from Shake Spring (CHIR_2924ddd1). Water is conveyed from Shake Spring to the sump box by a 4" diameter pipe. Data stored in STORET for this station were obtained from spring surveys and other hydrologic data contained in the office files of the National Park Service Water Resources Division. The files also contain data collected from wells in Chiricahua National Monument that weren't uploaded to STORET.
