MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Station is located on the Sulphur North Okla 7.5' USGS quadrangle. Station is located at Outlet C of Pavilion Spring. This is Gould's Nos. 611. Exact identification to the original 7 springs of the Pavilion Springs group is unknown. The spring is mineralized. Western most tile (left tile facing downstream) of adjacent pair set in a poured concrete base 35' at 297 degrees magnetic from main fountain. This is one of the original 33 springs identified by Gould in 1906 for which Chickasaw National Recreation Area was established. Data were collected at this station as part of a water quality monitoring program maintained by the Resource Management staff at Chickasaw National Recreation Area from 19871994.
