MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This station is located on the western edge of Front Lake at a former boat landing. A sample was taken to better determine the manner of an 'oily scum' typically found seeping from the soils near the lake edge. Sampling determined that this iridescent scum was a product of iron-reducing bacteria rather than petroleum.
