MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The station is located on The Loop Utah 7.5 minute series (topographic) quadrangle. The site is a spring that appears to share sources with CANY_ERI_SC22 in Canyonlands National Park. The spring occurs approximately 150 feet downstream from Big Spring confluence 100 feet downstream from CANY_ERI_SC22 on the south side of Salt Creek and at the mouth of an overhanging alcove with seep. There is an almost continuous seep connecting CANY_ERI_SC22 with CANY_ERI_SC23. The data are from the report "Water Resources Descriptions and Data Base Canyonlands National Park Needles District and Adjacent BLM Lands" prepared by Ecosystems Research Institute (October 1984).
